Who this agreement is with
This agreement is between the adult guest identified in the form below and Brand Craft Solutions LLC, operating The Vilma View (Producer). Hosts: Charles Coleman and Vilma Biliene Coleman. Questions, corrections, paper-copy requests and withdrawal notices: chuck@thekingofsteam.com. It covers only the interview session identified in your submission. Producer accepts the obligations in this agreement by offering this form and proceeding with that session.
1. Your choices and boundaries
You may skip optional questions, decline any interview question, ask for a break, or stop participating. Producer will honor your stated off-limits topics and identity restrictions. Say “pause recording” to stop the recording; Producer will confirm before resuming. Accidentally mentioning a restricted topic does not authorize publication. Restricted material must be removed unless you subsequently authorize it in writing. These restrictions override the general permissions below. A first name or pseudonym does not guarantee anonymity if your face, voice or story identifies you.
2. Recording permission
You voluntarily authorize audio and/or video recording in the format you select for the single session you identify. This form authorizes a prerecorded interview only. Livestreaming requires a separate written agreement identifying the date, platform and immediate-publication risks. This interview is public media production, not confidential therapy or professional advice.
3. Publication and commercial use
Subject to your recorded restrictions and withdrawal rights, you authorize Producer to edit, caption, transcribe, translate, reproduce, publish, broadcast, distribute, publicly display and monetize your appearance worldwide in existing or future media. This includes the episode, excerpts, trailers, thumbnails, transcripts, social posts and advertising for the podcast. Producer may use your approved public name, approved biography, voice and likeness for those purposes, and authorize its contractors, distributors and successors to do so under these same restrictions. This does not authorize unrelated product endorsements, fabricated statements, edits that materially misrepresent your meaning, or synthetic voice or digital-replica creation without separate written consent.
4. Ownership and duration
Producer owns its recordings, edits and finished productions. To the extent you hold copyright in contributions created specifically for this appearance, you assign those rights to Producer subject to this agreement. You retain your preexisting materials and remain free to tell your story elsewhere. Preexisting material that you separately approve for inclusion is licensed worldwide and royalty-free for the episode and its promotion. Rights continue indefinitely, and copyright interests for their full legally permitted duration, subject to the withdrawal provisions and rights that cannot legally be waived.
5. Editing and payment
Producer may shorten and rearrange the authorized material while respecting your boundaries and meaning. You have no general right to approve the final edit, title or promotional material unless agreed separately in writing. Producer is not required to publish the interview. Participation is unpaid, with no appearance fee, royalties, residuals or revenue share unless a separate signed agreement states otherwise.
6. Truthfulness and other people’s rights
You agree to speak honestly to the best of your knowledge, distinguishing firsthand experience from opinion and information from others. Do not knowingly make false statements or disclose information you are legally prohibited from sharing. Do not supply private messages, photos, recordings or copyrighted material for publication without appropriate permission or a separately confirmed lawful basis. You cannot waive another person’s rights. Report significant factual errors promptly.
7. Withdrawal before the first public release
You may withdraw permission for your entire appearance by emailing chuck@thekingofsteam.com before the first public release of any portion. Producer will email you the planned first-release date and time at least 48 hours beforehand and will not publish earlier without your further written consent. A teaser or social-media clip counts as a public release, even before the full episode. Withdrawal takes effect when the request reaches that email address; acknowledgment is not required. After timely withdrawal, Producer will not publish the appearance, but may retain the agreement and a restricted archival copy for legal recordkeeping.
8. After publication
After the first authorized public release, changing your mind alone does not create a contractual right to revoke permission for the appearance. All other limits in this agreement and applicable law still apply. You may report factual errors, safety concerns or violations of your restrictions, and Producer will review them promptly. Removing content from Producer’s channels cannot ensure removal of copies made by others. You may stop further interview participation at any time.
9. Risks and limited release of liability
Public discussion may cause discomfort, embarrassment, criticism, unwanted attention or strained relationships. Viewers may copy or share published material. To the extent permitted by law, you release Producer, the named hosts, their personnel, contractors and authorized distributors from claims for damages arising from recording and use within the permissions in this agreement, including authorized use of your name, image or voice, related emotional distress or embarrassment, and ordinary negligence in recording, editing or distributing that authorized material.
Limits on that release
This release does not cover defamation, fraud, gross negligence, reckless or intentional misconduct, breach of this agreement, publication outside your permissions, violations of agreed topic or identity restrictions, or liability that cannot legally be waived. Your signature does not waive anyone else’s rights.
10. Privacy and copies
Your legal name, contact information and private intake answers are used for interview preparation, contact and agreement administration, not published automatically. Only your approved public identity may be used. Responses may be stored in WordPress/Jetpack and sent through the production email system; authorized staff, service providers and advisers may access them as needed, or disclosure may be required by law. Jetpack may process technical submission data, including IP address and browser information, for spam prevention and administration. Do not send confidential documents, financial credentials or detailed medical information. Request access to your submitted record or a free paper copy at chuck@thekingofsteam.com. Required legal records may be retained despite a deletion request. Submitting this guest release does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Those require your separate, optional email-updates opt-in below.
11. Electronic signing
You may use a current browser on a phone or computer to read this agreement, and its Print / Save as PDF function to retain it. You can instead request a paper signing process without charge at chuck@thekingofsteam.com. By entering your full legal name as your signature, checking the required agreement boxes yourself, and selecting “Agree and submit guest release,” you intend to sign this agreement electronically and consent to electronic records for this interview. A submission is not complete until the form confirms successful receipt. Save or print the displayed submission summary and these terms. You may update your email or request future paper communications at the contact address; doing so does not itself revoke an already signed release.
12. Entire agreement
Your submitted choices, restrictions and interview-session information form part of this agreement. In exchange for your permissions, Producer agrees to the recording opportunity and its obligations here, including honoring your boundaries and withdrawal rights. Changes require both parties’ written agreement. Illinois law governs to the extent permitted without overriding mandatory protections under other applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective to the extent permitted. You confirm you are at least 18, legally able to agree, have read these terms, had an opportunity to ask questions or seek independent advice, and are signing voluntarily.
